Working note
AI Governance Starter Pack for Small Teams
A small team writes, in one week, the rules for the chat tools it already uses. A filled page is the team’s working note. It is not a certificate, and it does not make this house your counsel.
Lookbook · 5 plates
Not for
- EU AI Act certification, a conformity assessment, or a high-risk classification to hand a regulator.
- Legal advice, a lawyer’s opinion, or a document that “covers” the team.
- An enterprise governance, risk, and compliance platform, a control library, or an audit program.
- A guarantee of compliance, a promise that incidents will not happen, or an income claim.
How it moves
Read the example that matches you. Notice what they refused and whose name is on the gate.
Every tool on the register has a person. A tool with no owner stays off the approved list.
A model may draft a sentence. It does not approve a tool, and it does not sign the gate.
What’s inside
The files
- Acceptable use Plain English for one business: what the team may do with a chat tool, and what it may not.
- Data tiers Four tiers, so a client figure and a public draft are not treated as the same paste.
- Do-not-paste rules Copied into the language the team already uses.
- Approved tools A tool with no owner is not approved. Shadow requests have a form.
- Human review A named signer before words go outside. An incident log opened before you need it. A quarterly date.
- Two SAMPLE weeks A fictional consultancy and a fictional press. They are not clients, not results, and not proof that a team became compliant.
License, in short
What the files allow
You may adapt the pages for the one business whose people you named. You may not resell the pack, the policies, the register, or the SAMPLE weeks. The pages are working notes, not legal advice and not a certification. Intended refund, once a sale exists: fourteen days, purchase price back, license ends, copies deleted. Checkout terms control that sale.
Plain answers
Before you rely on the plate
Will this make us compliant?
No. A finished week means the team wrote down how it uses tools. It does not mean a statute, a regulator, a platform, a contract, or an insurer has agreed.
Is this EU AI Act certification?
No. The pack does not classify a system, does not produce a conformity assessment, and does not certify anything.
What do I get?
A file pack: acceptable use, data tiers, do-not-paste rules, an approved-tools register, a shadow-AI request, human-review gates, an incident log, a training one-pager, a quarterly checklist, two SAMPLE weeks, and an optional Notion spec. You do not get a lawyer or a certificate.
What are the two prices?
List $59. Launch $39. Both are locked catalog numbers.
